Male Hump Nose Surgery Before and After Photos: Severe Hump Nose with Septal Deviation Corrected with Hump Resection > O.P Column

Today, I’d like to introduce another case of male hump nose surgery.

In this case, the prominence of the nasal hump is quite significant.

Such a condition can make the nose appear disproportionately large compared to the face, and the downward curve of the nose can give a gloomy impression, often leading to a considerable complex.

Additionally, individuals with this condition often have a deviated nasal bone, which can cause functional issues like rhinitis or nasal obstruction.

We performed a hump resection and narrowed the width of the nasal bridge by osteotomy.

We also used septal cartilage to elevate the nasal tip.

In the front view, you can see that the nasal bone was initially quite curved.

Although we correct the curvature as much as possible, there may be some natural tendency for it to revert slightly, so it’s important to thoroughly explain this to the patient in advance.

In the bottom view, you can see the significant curvature.

In the 45-degree angle photo, you can see the change in the direction of the previously drooping nasal tip, which has significantly improved the overall impression.

The hump on the nasal bridge has been cleanly removed.
