Male Hump Nose Correction Before and After Photos: Large, Crooked Nose Surgery Without Implants > O.P Column

Hello, this is Dr. Kim Hyung-taek from Kowon Plastic Surgery Clinic.

This time, I would like to introduce a case of male hump nose surgery, featuring before and after photos of a patient with a very large and severe hump nose.

From the front, the nose appears slightly crooked, and the hump is quite prominent.

Additionally, the area between the eyebrows appears deeply sunken compared to the size of the hump.

Using a hump nose osteotomy, we shaved down the hump to make it as smooth as possible, performing the surgery without the use of implants.

For the sunken area between the eyebrows, we crushed some cartilage into small pieces and grafted it onto the bone to smooth out the height difference.

The nasal tip cartilage was spread out, so we also performed a nasal tip cartilage suture and removed the depressor septi nasi muscle to lower the tip of the nose.

The difference is very striking when viewed from a 45-degree angle.

The once bumpy nasal bridge is now smooth and fairly elevated, giving a very stylish appearance.

By smoothing out the bulging hump on the nasal bridge and raising the nasal tip, we created a much more natural line.

Because we performed the nasal tip cartilage suture, the shape of the nostrils became more refined, and the nasal tip looks more defined and pointed.
