Hello, this is Dr. Kim Hyung-taek from Kowon Plastic Surgery Clinic.
Today, I’d like to introduce a case of surgery for a long and low nose.
Patients with this nose shape often appear to have a flat and lifeless facial profile.
In the pre-surgery photo, you can see that the nasal bridge is low and the nasal tip is broad, giving a blunt appearance.
The side view shows that the nose appears slightly long.
In the post-surgery frontal view, the once blunt nasal tip has been significantly improved.
Additionally, we performed a correction to the depressor septi nasi muscle to lift the nasal tip.
From the base view, the nasal tip has been elevated, and the nostrils are now in a more natural position.
With this level of alar shape, proper elevation of the nasal tip is often sufficient to achieve a beautiful result without the need for alar reduction.
From the side view, the facial contours are visibly improved, adding dimension to the face.
The difference between the pre- and post-surgery appearance is striking.
The face now looks much more vibrant and attractive.
