Today, I’ll share a case involving correction of a short, wide nose with a slight deviation, along with septal extension.
In the pre-surgery photos, you can see that the nasal tip is tilted to one side, and the alignment of the glabella, nasal tip, and the center of the lips is off.
The nose appears short and somewhat wide, with a full appearance at the tip.
The patient needed removal of excess soft tissue at the nasal tip and a septal extension to achieve a more balanced look.
The patient had previously undergone filler treatments to address a low nasal bridge, leaving some residual filler.
Filler often causes the nose to appear wider from the front view.
It’s advisable to dissolve any remaining filler the day before or during the consultation to ensure a clear surgical outcome.
Two weeks after surgery, the nasal tip has been lengthened significantly, improving the nasolabial angle and enhancing the overall facial contours.
From the front view, the previously tilted appearance has been greatly improved.
However, it’s important to note that even after a well-executed surgery, there is a tendency for the nose to revert to its previous shape or for the implant to shift slightly, so regular follow-ups are essential.
From the bottom view, the previously wide and protruding nasal tip has been refined to a more slender and compact shape, addressing the wide nose issue.
The side view shows that the nasal septum has been adequately extended, and the overall facial appearance has become more refined and elegant.
