Hello, this is Dr. Kim Hyung-taek from Kowon Plastic Surgery Clinic.
Today, I would like to introduce a case of nose revision surgery.
The patient had undergone a previous nose surgery 6–7 years ago.
While the nose had a relatively high appearance, the nostrils were asymmetrical, and the patient desired a taller and more refined nose bridge.
Upon examining the cause of the asymmetry, we found that while it’s not very noticeable in the photo, the patient had a mild deviated septum (septal deviation), which caused the nose to appear slightly crooked.
The nasal tip’s central axis was slightly off, leading to asymmetry.
In the photo, there’s a slightly pinched appearance on the side of the right nasal tip, which might be due to scar tissue.
We aimed to improve this as much as possible during the revision surgery.
