The patient I would like to introduce today is a male who previously underwent turbinectomy five years ago. Despite the procedure, he continues to suffer from severe rhinitis.

As seen in the pre-surgery photos, he has a rounded, wide nose, giving the appearance of a larger nasal structure. His aesthetic preference is a straight nasal bridge with well-defined features, aiming for a masculine and structured look.

Additionally, he has been considering nostril reduction to further refine the proportions of his nose. The surgical plan will focus on creating a balanced, natural result while maintaining nasal function.

From the front view, the nose appears larger and wider in proportion to the face. While subtle refinements in nasal structure are often more noticeable from the side profile, in this case, the improvement is clearly visible even from the frontal perspective.

Post-surgery, you can see a significant reduction in the width and overall size of the nose, achieving a more balanced and well-proportioned appearance.

Compared to before the surgery, the shadows along the nasal bridge have become more defined, giving the nose a sharper and more structured appearance.

Additionally, the nasal tip has been refined, creating a more balanced and proportional look. The previously wide appearance of the nose has also improved, resulting in a more harmonious and well-defined facial profile.

This time, we are looking at a photo taken from below, which provides a clear view of the nasal tip structure.

In the picture, you can see that the nasal tip appears spread out to the sides, giving it a wider and flatter appearance in the center. The cartilage also appears slightly splayed, contributing to the overall broad look of the tip. This structural characteristic is important to address in order to achieve a more refined and well-defined nasal shape.

By bringing together the splayed cartilage at the nasal tip and elevating its height, the overall shape of the nostrils has also changed, resulting in a more refined and structured appearance.

Since it has only been two weeks post-surgery, the scars beneath the nose from the open rhinoplasty approach are still visible. However, with proper care, these scars will gradually fade over time, leaving behind a well-defined and natural-looking result.

Previously, from the side view, the mouth appeared slightly protruded in relation to the nose. By subtly reducing the nasal profile and bringing the nose forward, the overall facial balance has improved, giving the impression of a more recessed and proportionate mouth, enhancing facial harmony.
