Primary Rhinoplasty at Kowon > Real Review

I consulted with a few different clinics for rhino - Wave, Cocoline, Cohen and Kowon. I decided to go with Kowon in the end because:

- The doctor was very patient during consultations. I had two consultations in total because I was still undecided and he was happy to meet with me a second time so that I could ask more questions.

- He seemed to understand and pick up on the issues that bother me about my nose before I told him. He noticed that my nose droops down when I smile, and that the sides are pulled upwards.

- He seems to pay attention to details and aesthetics, noticing and talking about things like the angle of my nose to the top of my mouth, etc. He doesn't just focus on your nose as the only feature, but looks at facial harmony and how it fits with the rest of your features.

- He has over 20 years experience in rhinoplasty.

We settled on silicone for my bridge, and septal and donated rib for my tip.

I have to say that the quote is higher than other clinics. The total is around 8.5m krw (discounted slightly for providing a review on purse forum). They also don't issue tax refunds.

Apart from the doctor, the consultant is so kind and patient. I've messaged her many times on KKT and she even replies to me on her day off, assuring me that she will take care of me.

My surgery is this week, fingers crossed! I'm extremely nervous about the surgery and recovery. I will update when I can.
